Finally! A-Spec's are on!
Finally! A-Spec's are on!
Well, these wheels have been sitting in boxes in my garage for a number of months just waiting to be installed. Today was the day! They are the Ebony Chrome/Platinum Finish (part #08W18-SEP-202E). They are now wrapped in Bridgestone RE760 Sports, 245/40/18 (thanks to those who helped with this decision here - https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-tires-wheels-suspension-97/need-suggestions-summer-tires-764519/).
Please forgive how dirty the car is; it rained here today:

I bought mine from Findlay Acura through eBay back in June for about $1,000. I see that Curry Acura has them right now on eBay as well, but for $1,400 (Link)
Interesting comment about the tires. So far they've been pretty nice - grippy, smooth and quiet. I'll have to keep an eye on the wear. I'm curious, what kind of driving did you do? Namely, a lot of smooth freeway, or a lot of potholed roads, etc.? Just trying to gauge a little of what to expect.
Will do. Believe it or not, we've actually had 2 days of rain down here in Phoenix, so I haven't really had a chance to test them out. I'll try to provide an update on their performance later this week.
Thanks for the compliment. I've really gone back and forth on the rest of the A-Spec kit. I'm not super thrilled with the look of the rear bumper portion, especially in combination with the wing on the trunk. I've seen some people really pull it off nicely, and other times it just looks too busy to me.
Those look great man! Congrats on your purchase and finally getting them mounted
You should consider painting your calipers black. Even though your calipers don't look bad, they draw some attention away from the wheels. I did all 4 of mine black and they look much better.
Like you, I wasn't really a huge fan of the rear A-Spec lip, but I installed it on my WDP and I LOVE it. There is no way in hell I will ever go back to the stock bumper. I think adding the sides and rear A-Spec lips to your car will really help the car stand out even more

Do you have pictures of your car pre- and post-addition of remaining A-Spec kit pieces?

It comes with the paint in a jar, rather than spray paint, a brush, masking tape, brake cleaner, and a stir stick. I opted for that one so I paint the calipers without removing them from the car. I took a dremel and got all of the old rust and such. I got black, but you can also get red, blue, or silver.
And as of right now I don't have any before/after pictures of the A-Spec kit. If I remember tomorrow, I'll be sure to take some pictures for you. Keep in mind I don't have the front lip on, so it looks a tad goofy.
This is the kit I got:

Any impressions that you'd like to share yet? How did they handle the rain? I'm very close to pulling the trigger on a set of these.
I immediately noticed that they were smoother and quieter than the Eagles. Overall, I'd say I am quite happy.
