Excelerate Performance: XLR8 ISC Coilover Special!!!

Excelerate Performance is proud to announce a special sale on our XLR8 ISC coilover line for the Acura lineup. We have worked closely with ISC suspension to design coilovers for the Acura TL (2nd, 3rd and 4th gen), TSX (1st and 2nd gen), RSX, and NSX. We have become the exclusive distributor in North America for the Acura models, thus making them XLR8 coilovers manufactured by ISC. So what are ISC coilovers and what are the benefits?

ISC Suspension has been present in Asia and Australia for over 13 years and expanded to the North American market in 2008. With roots in motorsports like Formula Drift, ISC is geared towards the performance enthusiast in mind who demands adjustability and reliability. ISC Suspension North America caters to Japanese and European import performance vehicles, attracting both street car enthusiast and race car enthusiast alike. All customer support, rebuilds and service work is done in house in their USA facility (New Hampshire). With a 5 year warranty surpassing industry standards. Featuring products filled with features and benefits ISC Suspension has a strong presence in today's market.

The N1 coilover can be lowered approximately 3-3.5 inches lower then standard ride height. The spring rates are set up specifically to suit your car and therefore will improve handling and stability dramatically. We can make packages for track/rally/drag and of course street. Our lineup will specifically be designed towards the street/sport customer. However, to offer more flexibility we will offer the option for custom spring rates at no extra charge. This will require extra time.

I am ~650lbs lighter than stock (weighs in less than 3000lbs) and I have stiffer springs

Wow that looks amazing. I love how you dialed in the ride height. Which spring rates did you go with? How do you like the handling? How is the comfort on the street with the spring rates you went with?

You car looks sweet the way you set it up. I have a 2008 type S with currently no mods and am looking for ideas. Your head lights and brakes came out awesome. I also like how you blacked out the area around the front emblem. My car is black and I have thought about getting the stock waffle wheels powder coated black but have seen some 18's on here that I really like so not sure what I will eventually go with. I am considering these coil-overs when the shocks go out.

Are you running camber kits front and rear? Please give some feedback on how you like the coil-overs.
Thanks!

First off thanks for the complements buddy....

I went with the Street/Sport springs....the reason I went with these coils is because you get height/preload/dampening adjustment and they come with top hats....

I love how the car handles, I do have the preloads wound down since I love the car being stiff....I have taken multiple trips on the coils and when taking a trip, I set the dampening to 14F/14R and the ride is very smooth....when in the city (an the pregnant wifey is not driving with me) I set it to ~28F/24R and the car feels very stable and "planted"

Well thank you...I like being different and the headlights/tails/emblems make (me feel that) my car stands out of the crowd....I would suggest against powdercoating the rims....its a pricey process and for not much....if you have summer/winter (not like California/Florida) then you can wrap the stock wheels in all season tires/winter tires and just use them for winter....for summer you can get some nice wheels and just wrap them in sticky summer tires....

Thanks!
Yes...when I first got coilovers, I went through a set of tires in 15K miles....they had some camber/toe wear (and I had gotten alignment done only at the time of install of the coils)....so I bought the front and rear ingalls camber kit and firestone's lifetime alignment deal....since then I get an alignment done every 5K miles and my tires have lasted ~40-45K miles....(yes I have 176K miles on my car LOL)

Josh, Swoosh helped make the sale for me

and to everyone, I ordered on Thursday and got it on Monday... that was a damn fast turn around... no hassle.. no stress... and main thing is XLR8 stands by what they sell which helps when you are dealing with something like a coilover system... the camber is an added bonus

I have a 04 6 six speed TL. When I go onto the XLR8 website to buy the kit, it states that it is not compatible. Is that an error or do they really don't fit the 3G Tl?
