Enkei 18" A-Spec Wheels
Anyone have the chrome A-spec wheels on their Acura TL. Thinking about getting the wheels for my WDP. Want to know if the wheels will look cool on my car instead of the other 2005 non-chrome A-spec wheels. Any1 have a opinion? Post a pic if you have one.. THNX

You might start by searching in the 3G photo gallery, there are some who have this combo. I think it looks OK, personally...

I just had Falken 512s installed on a new set of '05 A-Spec wheels from Acura of Escondido (on eBay Motors).
There's enough metallic reflection on these that I'm glad I did not opt for chrome. However, you may want to check with Scott Edwards as they're selling '05 A-Spec wheels for $980.00 and '05 Chrome A-Spec for $1280.00 + UPS shipping.

I'm getting the 2005 A-spec chrome-like oem wheels for my WDP TL. Any opinions on this setup? What tires should I get and how much will they cost?

I wanted to drive my TL in every season w/ the 18" Aspec rims... so I went with the Kumho ASX (ultra high performance, all season tire). They're pretty good so far.. haven't had a winter with them yet, but they're very good in the rain and are relatively quiet .. so if you want a super quiet tire, i recommend spending more to purchase the Michelin or the Yokohama.

Anyone have these tires on their TL? I'm getting the 18 inch A-spec chrome wheels and want to know if these brand tires are good in the rain, have good traction, have minimal road noise, and thread last longer than other brands? They are going for $142.00 a tire. I have Navigation to, and want to know if they wont affect my Nav calculations.

I want to get some aspec rims to replace my oem rims on my 07 tl type s. Is there a thread that compares the different size, finish and compatability of the aspec rims? I have brand new tires on my 17" oem rims and I really don't wan't to buy a new set of tires for 18" rims.

Holy bump ![what](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/what.gif)
A-Spec wheels are 18s so you can't use your tires since they are meant for 17s.

Yeah I just found out that the 17" aspec will not work on a type S because of the brembo brakes. They are only for base TL and TSX. Oh well. Is there a link showing the different finishes of the 18"?

How about you try not being a dick there guy? I did search before posting. I am relatively new to this site. I did a search and didn't find a thread addressing the 17" aspec rims on a type s.

i'll add to the holy thread revival!!!
aspec 17's were NOT made for the TL. they were made for the TSX (17x7.5). the only aspec rims for the TL (all 04-08's) were 18's. there was only one yr maybe two (04-05) that the 18x8.5's were made in gunmetal. all other aspec rims are 18x8's (for the TL). OEM rims for TL are 17x8.
