Eibach Pro Kit Springs Owners??

I recently installed a set of Eibach Pro Kit springs on my 04 Acura TL 6SPD. It has been a few weeks and the "settling" of the springs have stopped. Unfortunately the look is not very desirable because the front appears higher than the rear by 1/2 inch. This was calculated from the hub centers to the wheel wells. So, I took another measurement from ground to front bottom panel and ground to rear bottom panel. With this measurement, the car is actually leveled. Next, I took another measurement using masking tape to create a straight plane from top front wheel well to top rear wheel well. The wheel wells were not the same height (rear is actually lower than front).

Anyone who have installed the Eibach springs experienced this problem? Can anyone measure their ride height from hub center to apex (top) of wheel wells? By measuring from hub center to wheel well, tire size and rim size does not affect the measurement.

If you checked on Eibach's website, the 04 TL and the 03+ Accord V6 uses the same part number. The springs lower the TL 1"F/1"R and Accord 1.3"F/1.2"R. The box actually states for 03+ Accord. So, it appears that the Eibach springs were never designed exclusively for the TL. Even though springs may appear to be identical, other characteristics like weight, CG, etc. affects the “appearance” cars.

On a different note, TEIN is now developing the Basic Damper kit (adjustable). So, Eibach are coming off and I will be waiting on TEINs.

I encountered the same problem when I put the Eibach pro kit on my 3 series. The front was a little higher than the back. I think the Automatic tranny is heavier than our 6 speed so that could also make the car sit higher.

Isn't this just how the TL is. There is less space in the rear fender well than in the front. All the TL's I've seen are like this. It's a design element borrowed from the 3 series among others. I think if the front were lowered to have the same amount of fender well gap as the rear it would be to low. I think it's just more noticeable now that you've lowered it.

You are correct. I went to my Acura Dealership and took some measurements. In all cases, ground to wheel well measurements had the front .25" higer than the rear.

Factory TL 6 SPD with 235/40/17 front was 26.75" and rear was 26.25".

My 6 SPD TL with Eibachs and 245/40/18 tires measured 26.25" front and 25.75" rear.

I also installed the Eibach Pro Kit...Love the ride. If the front drop was any lower, I would scrape more than I would like...

Here are my pics...
