I've been using that exact kit for about a month now. No issues what so ever.

HOw's the quality? Are the bars at least as thick as the stock set up? Or are they flimsy and thin? Aside from overall diameter are they thin-walled rods themselves?

Thanks!!!

Also, how does it look? Exactly as pictured? Because the pic looks like they straight took it from an Ingalls kit.

Also the Quality rubber bushings?

Sorry for so many questions. It's a significant savings over Ingalls, but I don't want to cheap out, only to pay later and ultimately end up paying twice!

Quality seems just as good as stock. They seem to be the same diameter and weight. The bushings also seem as good as stock.

I don't know what to say. They look exactly like the ingalls kit. Especially since they have one black nut and one silver nut. $69 dollars is really cheap for a complete kit.

I have a friend who picked up a set very similar to that off of eBay and ended up taking it off. He had issues with the bushing being too large and not wide enough so no matter how tight he got it, his toe would change. He went through a set of rear tires in a matter of months. He ended up spending the money and bought the SPC camber kit. Personally I run both the SPC camber kit and Ingalls without any problems. We compared the eBay kit to my Ingalls when we orignally installed it and other than the bushings, the color is the only cosmetic difference.

WHOA!

You just saved me! I was literally about to pay on Paypal, but then checked back here to see if anyone had any last nickels...

I had a feeling if anything would be bad about these, it would be the bushings or things not fitting up tight.

Did your buddy try putting some washers on either side of the bushing to get it tight?

I also assume that your buddy bought the Ingalls-type rear kit and that is what you are talkng about here?

I just put on the ingalls rear 2 arms per side kit and so far it's great. The guys at the alignment place said it was simple to adjust. I have a friend who has a civic, he installed ingalls on it 3 years ago and still no issues. I would spend the money and get a name brand kit if I were you IMO.

Ingalls has really good bushings from what I've heard and seen with my own 2 eyes.

Yes, he bought the same $90 kit thinking that he was going to save some money but ended up spending it on tires. He never tried to put washers, I think he just gave up and went with the SPC kit and called it a day. I dont think he wanted to take a chance on another set of tires. I dont blame him. I can vouch for both the SPC kit and the Ingalls kit. Both are very good and can be bought from Heeltoe, a site sponsor.

Well I am not talked out of it yet...

I just decided not to buy it that day and to wait for more people to chime in.

Comtechtl2367, have you by chance had the alignment check since install to make sure things have pretty much relatively stayed the same?

My biggest concerns with this kit are the bushing quality, tightness of fit, and if everything stays tight over time (bolts, fit, bushings, etc.).

Thanks to everyone who responded!

i have these for about 2-3 months. the alignment guy said it was a nice piece. im concerned about the bushing also. when i installed them, i can move the bushing around with my hand. just imagine the weight of the car on it LOL. so far its not making any weird noises and the bushings have not fallen off haha.

In my buddy's experience, he didnt find any bushing failure until 4 or 5 months after we initially installed them. Hopefully that was just an isolated case. I would've posted a picture but he already tossed them.

well like i said my buddy has had ingalls for 3 years now on a slammed civic and those babies look mint still...and I just installed mine and the bushings on the ingalls are rock solid and DO NOT MOVE!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and spend some cash on quality merchandise. Why would you even consider putting BS equipment on such a major part of the car!!!!! the last thing you want is for something to snap or spend the money on those, spending the money on an alignment, and then having to buy better ones in 6 mons from now anyways??? Doesn't make much sense to me, but hey its your money!!!! IMO

Agreed!

I decided to go with the Ingalls kit because I found it for $139 shipped. I would have saive $55 with the EBAY kit, but I didn't want to end up paying twice. Everywhere I read about the EBAY kit, people were more or less initially happy, but it didn't seem to hold up over time. Didn't stay tight in fit, etc.

I even messaged a few buyers from EBAY.

One of their feedbacks even said, "you get what you pay for".

So I figured better safe than sorry. After all, I am trying to SAVE money here buy saving my tires. I would be really pissed if

a. the kit didn't hold up and I had to replace it

AND

b. my tires wore and became a casualty of this EBAY kit

At the end of the day, I am not happy about having to spend more, but I have peace of mind.

If you could do that, it might solve the mystery for all.

It's too late for me, but may help others in the future that might be considering this kit.

I wish i had the Ingalls kit that i could put next to the EBay ones... I bet you would find little to no differences! I had this same fight on the Nissan forums when i bought my Greddy intake manifold for my RB. I ended up buying and knock off for cheap and cut it open, there were no major difference at all. Unless someone can prove the ebay ones or not as good this is all just opinion!

My friend and I lowered both of our TLs at the same time. He had the eBay kit and I have the Ingalls kit so I have had both kits side by side. The only physical difference was a slight change in color. The bushings may have been smaller on one kit or the other but I never measured. Lastly, the bushings looked similar but whether or not the material was the same, that would be unknown. Personally, I would still go with the Ingalls kit for that extra piece of mind. Tires cost more than the difference saved by purchasing the eBay kit.

Exactly...don't skimp when it comes to suspension...you wanna buy eBay LEDs, cool...eBay shift knobs and stuff like that, cool. Don't buy no name camber kits and springs and bushings and ball joints from eBay. The saying you get what you pay for wasn't said for nothing.

In 6 mons from now the OP will be posting a thread called my eBay camber kit knuckle snapped or the bushing wore out. Just my 2 cents though. I've learned a long time ago YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!

There's other good companies out there not just ingalls...but ingalls has been around for years and are proven. Botto
line.

Do we only need a camber kit for the rear of our cars or for the front also?

I guarantee you your bushing will start to fail and creek/squeak in 2-3 years if not sooner. Knock off suspensions parts are a terrible way to go i've had my share of lessons learned trying to save a dime. At least this isn't a part with a ball joint or else I would say get it off now! I've see lower ebay ball joints literally break or pop out!

I just wanted to bump this thread and let everyone know that my rear Ingalls camber kit snapped while taking a turn. It has been about 5 years and nearly 100,000 miles but it shouldn't have snapped. Luckily I was able to keep the car in control as it fishtailed and fortunately I was close to home. FYI this was on a CL-S, but it can give an indication of the quality anyways.

There are a couple different listings for what seem to be the same no name camber set up ( 4 links in all for camber and toe adjustment, 1G TSX, 7G Accord and 3G TL fitment). The vendors might as well be one and the same, too. However, there is some discrepancy in description. One listing states that links are forged and the bushings in them are rubber. The other one states that the links are stainless steel and the bushings are made of polyurethane. Both are about the same money, show the same pic for the links and have no mention of any warranty. It would be great to have more definitive info on these.

Someday you will learn and OMG 3K thats amazing! I'm just speaking from experience obviously not all eBay stuff comes from the same place. However if you are buying suspension part on ebay, & they are priced great! & they are seemingly no name brands you can bet your ass they will fail prematurely!
