Hey everyone,

Im new to the TL scene and i keep tossing up the idea of getting a set of aspecs. I found these on ebay and they seem like a great deal with new tires. Tires alone from tirerack are ~$450ish.

Are these replicas maybe? or am i missing something with these wheels?

Don't know what those are, but they are not TL A-Spec wheels.

A-Spec wheels (for the TL) are 18 x 8 or, in one case, 18 x 8.5. Both come in 45mm Offset.

What you listed are 18 x 7.5 and 55mm offset.


Maybe OE for an RSX or TSX or something or maybe just plain fakes.

They seem too cheap to be true (includes tires).

So I'm guessing they're fake, too.

The TSX A-Spec rims are 17" x 7.5", and those listed are 18"x 7.5"...

 

Don't drop down to 7.5 for the TL, too small. These have been on Ebay for a while. I've been seeing a 7.5 wide for Aspecs for sometime now.

These are the TSX wheels. They will fit the TL, but will not clear brembos. I sell these for $660 shipped, so with tires they're not far off.

 

Thanks for that info. What is the stock 04-06 TL 17" rim width? I picked up a set a type s wheels to try and go for the type s look but keep looking at the aspec rims. Would i really notice a difference between the 7.5" and 8" rim width?

 

Stock TL rims are 8" with 235 tires on them. I think it's noticeable but you could if you want.

 

I just got a set of 2012 tsx aspec wheels for a poker debt lol, 18x 8, 5x114.3 64.1 cb +50? Or +45? are they as rare and valuable as im told they are (trying to decide if keep and put on my cl (until I sell it and buy an 03 6spd version) or sell the wheels now. Opinions welcome

 

18x8.5 TL Aspecs are the most rare.

Fair enough, typically aftermarket /used wheels go for 500~1000$ given that these are rather limited could I aim for 1500~2000$?

 

lol...NO! again these are TSX Aspec. $600-900 in like new condition with 75% or better tire tread I would imagine.

Whereas if they were TL 8.5s you could possibly demand as much as $1200 with a low end of $900. Just my guess I've seen them sell for as high as $1500
