To Drop or Not

Safe to say, after-mkt. wheels look way better on a lowered TL than stock suspension. If anyone has evidence contrary to this, please post pics.

I totally sold out comfort for performance and looks on my 2nd gen. MR2. Not a problem though - it's now just a weekend ride. However, after a full day of twisties, when I'm far from home, the choppy ride gets old when I just want to cruise back home in comfort at the end of the day.

I want to get rims and a clean look on my TL, but I really don't want to sacrifice ride comfort. But I don't want to be rollin' around w/huge wheel gaps, either. What suspension setup will close the gap, but not totally thrash my kidneys? Or what wheel/tire setup looks good without having to drop? Thanks for any help.

I just put 20" on my 05 TL and I think it sits very nice. I will post pics in the next day or so.

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the eibach pro-kit springs lower a bit less, and are also more comfortable than the tein SS springs. I have the eibachs and I have noticed a decline in comfort over bumpies, but nothing very bad.
