Yes, I was wondering if there would be any rubbing with 255/35/19 with an A-Spec drop?

I'm sure this size will fit. There are people running 255/40-17 with no issues. I would not go any wider than an 8.5" wheel.

There's no question of whether they will fit. They will. The question is whether there will be any rubbing with 19" and an A-Spec drop.

Try them and let us know. I have never seen anyone on the forum with this size. Again, the 255/40-17 will look wider than the 255/35-19 because of the taller side wall. If the offset is not too agessive then there should not be problem. The A-Spec drop is very subtle.

Actually 255/35/19 has bigger overall diameter than 255/40/17 by %3.85 of the original 235/45/17 tire size.

you m ight as well just go with an 18", because thats what the wheels are going to end up looking like. and 255 will fit on a 19", but rubbing may be an issue, depending on width of the wheel and offset.

18? then whats the point of getting new wheels... i have 20;s on 245/30 on a lowered tl and it doesnt rub at all.. wouldn't go wider than 8.5 in the front and 9.5 in the back.

Since the A-Spec drop is only about .75'' I bet you could put 21's and not rub.
