Diffrent suspension on MT

Their are a lot of differences between the MT and Standard on the 3rd gen. Dose anyone know if the suspension is different. I think the MT is between the Standard and A-spec. Anyone now for sure?

In general the suspension is basically the same. The RSB (17mm-AT and 20mm-MT) is the only difference I know of. The parts list for the front shocks does not differentiate between AT and MT. One more thing, someone mentioned the Aspec part #'s for the AT and MT are different. And of course the brakes, Brembos for the MT and OEM for the AT.

Anyone know what the difference is between the AT and MT A-spec suspension? Why two part numbers?

Probably different rates due to additional weight of the AT - about 100 lbs.

I have a 6MT and thought the same thing, the weight distribution is 60/40 versus 61/39 of the 5AT.

As someone aleady mentioned it is probably for understeer reduction.

Currently I run 36psi front and 34psi rear. May up the front to 38psi and see how that works.

I have one of each, an '04 6MT and an '05 5AT. I can most definitely feel the difference between the two cars. My manual has a stiffer, more aggressive suspension than my wife's automatic.

Manual has a larger rear sway bar compared to the auto.

The A-Spec adds tuned springs and struts that lower the car approx 1 inch. (I passed on the A-spec and went with Comptech springs)

I have the MT aspec suspension installed on my AT TL. Fits and performs perfectly fine. I decided to go with the MT suspension to help even out the rear rake people were complaining about. The car is now evenly lowered front to back. To my knowledge, the only difference between the AT and MT suspension is a higher spring rate for the AT in the front to compensate for the 100 lbs difference between the two. Hope this helps...
