Difference between Auto A-Spec Suspension and MT

Ok, here's the thing.
A couple of months ago I've purchased an A-Spec suspension from Curry Acura and installed it there as well. They asked to specify whether I had an Auto or MT, and I did - MT. Everything was done great. Now I've been looking for something and I found out that the suspension they installed was for an automatic. The part number 08W60-SEP-200A. I called the dealership and told them that, and the guy tells me that there's no difference. I told them that I would get more drop with manual suspension than auto, but he says "no" and tells me that Acura doesn't even differentiate anymore between the two. I would appreciate if someone could tell me what the case is. Thanks

One more thing. I see that many people say that 08W60-SEP-200A is the part number for the MT. However I saw Sunnyside Acura selling the suspension for TSX and they have A at the end for Auto and B for MT. So is it certain that 08W60-SEP-200A is for MT or just a hearsay?

I don't know you will find a definitive answer to your question. I've seen many posts on this, but not sure I trust what has been said about this 100%. I think it's just a lot of guesses and theories.

You would have to think that if there are different part #'s that something has to be different between the kits. What exactly, I couldn't tell you with 100% certainty

Check the actual part numbers on the front shocks. It should read something like 08W60-SEP2M00-F1 for one side of the front and E1 for the other side. I forget which one was for which side. These are the actual numbers on the parts themselves. The 08W60-SEP-200A is for the complete A-spec kit, with the 'A' indicating the MT.
