Damn TPMS issues...
So I am fairly new to the world of TPMS. MY old 04 base TL didn't have it and I was able to swap rims all the time without any problems.
Unfortunately my new 08 Type-S has tpms and I just threw on my new wheels the other day (vossen cv3's). I knew I would get the tpms light but I didn't realize it would blink at me and throw up error codes on the nav screen and everything else. It's pretty god damn annoying. Honestly IMO tpms is completely unnecessary; but that's besides the point.
Now; what can I do to get rid of this issue? I don't necessarily want to install tpms in the wheels because I swap wheels really often and don't want to deal with the hassle of removing or buying new ones all the time; plus having them installed etc etc.
Is there any other solution my fellow wheel whores have found?

I've been driving with my TPMS light on for almost 2 years now. All I get is a orange notification in the MID that says TPMS ERROR. I press the OK button on the steering wheel once and it never comes back on until I restart the car. I only got the message on my navi system once and that's when it first went out. I don't know why yours keeps reminding you, that would be very annoying lol

Google "TPMS bomb".
EDIT: never mind, just saw your link. I've heard it works. It's worth a shot.

Well. This past weekend I made the tpms bomb.
It didn't turn off the light though. Problem now is I have too many variables. I bought those tpms sensors used in the BM so it's possible they are bad since they sat on my desk for the last 4 months.
On the other hand the sensors could be fine but the bomb might not work because of something else. Is it possible our sensorsay need to be closer to each wheel well rather than in one central location (trunk)? Can't think of anything else...

Well, I didn't want to deal with removing them from the wheels as that is generally not a DIY project; I'd have to drag the wheels to a shop and then pay them to do it. Just seems easier to buy a new set.
My plan is essentially to have a "daily" set of wheels with good tires and TPMS installed. This would be for road trips and as a backup set.
I plan on also having a set of working TPMS inside of a TPMS "Bomb" that I would keep in the trunk whenever I have a new set up. I'm a wheel whore and I don't want to keep paying to have TPMS installed in every set of wheels..Too much of a hassle and I wouldn't want to spend the money and trust the tech not to break the tpms sensors when removing and reinstalling lol. Hope that makes sense
At this time I'm not really sure where I am at. I'm going to try to eliminate some variables and troubleshoot the bomb today by submerging it in water and double checking that its airtight.
