Contrast Pirelli pzero ms, Hankook uhp all season and Sumitomo uhp as

Still looking for tires,

The pirellis are rated pretty high on tire rack and the variants are rated really high on consumer reports- and the are a good price 120/tire

My mechanic is recommending the hankooks for the price @ 102/tire

Also interested in the sumitomos based off their excellent cr rating and their price

I need a allseason, but never will drive it in snow, can anyone contrast these?

Go with anything but the Pirelli. Have never had good luck with them. Owned two sets and they have a very short threadlife and are not cheap.

^ I'm going to have to disagree. Get the Pirelli's, you won't regret it. I have had them on my car for almost a year now and they are amazing tires in any type of weather. And at $120/tire, that really isn't expensive. I've spent more on tires in the past and haven't gotten the quality of the Pirelli's.

The pirellis have 22 million reviews on tire rack, the mist of any uhp tire, they can't be that bad

I have had Pirelli's, and I would recommend them anyday of the week! They are great tires!

I recently got a set of the pirelli pzero ms to replace my worn Nitto NT555.

I havent regretted the purchase. The pirellis are very stable in adverse weather. California has been pounded with rain, hail, ect. Where my old tires felt nervous, the pirellis stayed planted.

I got mine about two months ago on clearance from tirerack. Not sure if they are still on sale.

Side question, what's the shelf life of a tire? Is 2008 too old

2008 is fine. The Les Schwab tire center near me doesn't mount used tires that are more than ten years old so that's my guideline.
