Clearing Brembo Brake Calipers?
So not sure if this would go in tires/wheels/suspension or parts/modifications...Anyhow I recently bought some new tires (specs: 18x10 +20)and they don't clear my front brake calipers (05 MT TL) was curious if you can remove the large brembo cover to make it look like the back brake allowing the tires to clear or if thats not possible? They just barely don't clear, and trying to avoid buying spacers if I can... Thanks for any answers!

the brembos are called a Big Brake Kit.
its fucking huge on purpose.
if you remove the covers, it will render the caliper USELESS!
thus why getting wheels that fit is so important. research needs to be done before pulling the trigger on wheels.
why dont you want spacers?
also, you could mill or sand down the brake caliper to where the rims do fit, but it wouldnt make the brakes very attractive....
and thats the whole point of the brakes!!! lol
some reflecting on the rims you bought needs to be done.
either get spacers to clear, or sell the wheels for something that fits

Those specs and they don't clear? Which wheels are they? And if I were you, run a spacer. If it's only 5mm, then you will be fine. Anything more, extend the lugs.

Jesus dude, just a damn question...there should be a no thanks button.... Figured I'd ask the forum before buying spacers if there was a simpler fix, they're not cheap. Btw no triggered was pulled the wheels were given to me. Appreciate your

XXR 521's. Yeah was just seeing if I'd be able to avoid buying them, but seems to be the only option as I thought.

You think spacers are expensive? You bought the wrong car.

Forget what everyone is saying here. I say do what you want; remove your brembo brakes so that way your rims can fit. Who needs front brakes anyways? You alrdy have brakes in the rear.
