I am thinking about getting rims for my ride (see avatar). But I am not sure how chrome rims would look on anthracite. I have tried using the apps at tires.com and tirerack.com, but I need to know what it looks like in real life before I spend any money on rims. Anyone have any opinions of chrome on anthracite? Better yet any pictures?

I'm sorry, but this is fugly (1st, 2nd, and 4th ones), especially the 4th one. They look like they are spinners even though they are not. The third one is respectable, but there's still something about it that makes me go ummm...

Just tryin' to help the guy out to get an idea of what chrome would look like on a AM! Sometimes it's just a bitch to find certain photos. Anyway, you know what they say about beauty ...... if they're diggin' it, it's cool.

By the way, my rims are not chrome. They are machined. Just wanted to add that in there.
