Bridgestone RE760

Just picked up a set of bridgestone re760 for my Tl and after a week of driving with them on I gotta say these are great tires for the money. I had Michilen Pilot PS2 on before and the bridgestones don't give up much if anything to the overpriced Pilots. Dry handeling is about the same but i do notice the bridgestone grip better in the cool weather we will see about the hot weather if it ever gets here. The ride comfort is good and they are very quiet for perfomace rubber so lets hope they stay that way over the life of the tire. Anyway I just wanted to let you know about my experience with the new rubber and give the RE760's a

Hey, glad to see some more people reppin the RE760's! I have had them on for about 18,xxx, and have really liked them. Very good traction in dry/wet conditions. I don't have too much to compare them with, besides the stock Bridgestone Turanza's that it came with(SHxTTY)! When I went to purchase the Potenza RE750, they were not making them and this was their new tire, so I figured I would give it a shot. Very happy that I did! I hope to get at least a few thousand more miles on them, as I need to save up for some new one's!

I hope you enjoy them Djbonsu! What size on the summer wheels?

So, are you saying that the RE760's should last a total of 20K?
Just asking

I hope so too! I'm getting the RE760s in 235/35/19. Hope to get some good milage out of them as well. Wishing for at least 25-30k. But that may be expecting a bit much we shall see

Well, No! I am looking to get 25K if not more! I said a few thousand more, but meant like 5-7K! I believe the treadwear is 340. The only thing that I have noticed that I may call negative about the tires is that they wear on the edges more than I would have thought, if that makes any sense. (Rounding of the edges of the tires) I rotate mine every 5K.

I would say your estimate is probably right on. Another member on here gave a horrible review and said he only got like 20K out of them. Not sure that I agree with that.

Well, I already have over 18K on them. I don't really push the car that hard, just some spirited driving here and there on the backroads....Vinnier6 have you used this tire? And another tire since? How are they in comparison to the RE760's if you have? Thanks

These are great all around performance tires. Quiet, pretty sticky, good wet, good dry, good price, good tread wear.

I had a little discount but 4 245/40/18 760s was $610 shipped! Gotta love that!

Sorry guys, but IMO if you get 20K on these tires, it means you have to change them out 2-3 times from a Michelin Pilot A/S, and many other competitive tires.

That's not a good deal to me.
Again, just my

You should be able to squeeze 30 out of these. And you can't even compare the performance of these tires to the pilots, lol.... Oranges and apples.

I bought my set last spring for my aspecs. Have nothing but positive things to say. Extremely quiet, hold up to camber wear, and have a decent treadlife. I gather I have 10000 plus on mine already. and guessing about 70% life remaining. Highly recommended over any dunlop or falken comparable imo.

If it's any indication, I got more than 25K miles out of a set of RE750s which have the same wear rating as the RE760s. If the 750s were still available, I would have went with them again but the 760s are good tires. My only gripe is that they follow the grooves in the pavement too much. The tread pattern on the 750s didn't have this effect.

They are holding up well wear is pretty good. I have had to replace one because of a nail threw the sidewall but thats just bad luck. So far the only thing I don't like is the same thing Tsx-S2000 said is that they do follow the grooves on bad roads but the Tl is kinda bad for that anyway.

I love them. I put the RE750's on as soon as the OEM tires blew and used them until Bridgestone discontinued them and came out with the 760s. A great tire for the money
