I think he's talking about the the thing that pushes the pistons back.

Just stick one of the old pads back in sideways and lever it against the rotor. Like this you can gently push each piston back one at a time.

Otherwise order one of these:

You dont need one. Just put the old pads back in and stick a screw driver in between the rotor and the pad and you can push the pistons back into place.

You really don't even need a screwdriver. I used my fingers and the old pads to compress the pistons. Worked like a charm.

Yeah, you don't need it. I've changed the Brembo brakes out on an EVO X and just pushed it back in with my fingers. You can bleed the brakes a little to make it easier, but usually not needed. If you do bleed the brakes, don't forget to bleed the lines after to ensure you don't have air in your lines, but I bet you already knew that. Have fun!

You just need to make sure the cap is off the brake fluid resevoir and make sure it doesn't overflow when you push pistons back in.

If someone added fluid because it was low instead of using that as an indicator the rotors and pads were wearing you will get fluid everywhere.

Brake fluid will eat away paint quick if left uncleaned.

Just my 0.02

I have a 14.00 brake tool I bought a few years ago hasn't let me down yet.

Open the bleeder on the side you're compressing and the pistons will go in easily and you'll also remove the "old" fluid at the same time rather than pushing it back into the lines/caliper. Close the bleeder and go to the other side and do the same. Air won't enter the caliper and you won't need to bleed the brakes when doing this as there will be no suction to let, or have air enter the system.
