Bent rims

Bent rims
For all of those who go with 35 series tires, be careful when driving. I have bent one of my rims. My brother has already bent several rims. Just watch out for pot holes. 3 piece wheels are harder to fix then one piece wheels.

i think this goes back to what a member was sayin a while ago...you shouldn't have problems w/bent rims as much if you get a tire that is made wider so it can protect the rim better...for instance you have a 7.5 inch rim, get a 235/35 tire...that way you will have that extra rubber and you dont have so much pressure on the outer lip of the rim...the 8.0 inch wide rim would be way safer on a 245, but we cant run that...it all comes down to driving style anyways...why dont you post pix of your ride jefro...Shyne

The only pics of my car are at racingzoneautohouse.com. It's the silver CL type s sittin on Lowenhart BR5s. It's in the gallery under Acuras. Check it out. I'll take more pictutes when I get my rims back on. One of the rims is getting straigtened. They said it would take 6 weeks because they have to send it out to ger rechromed.
