BCT Tires???

Anyone have any experience with BCT tires? A local shop is selling BCT S800 summer tires (235-40-18) for 95 bucks each and I'm thinking about pulling the trigger. I will be needing new summer tires next year but was considering all seasons (conti DWS). These tires got mixed reviews online but I couldn't find a lot of reviews.....and most were in german or something.

I had never heard of them until today. Any input appreciated.

Google search reveals they are cheap Chinese tires. I'd steer clear. I've had cheap tires, nexen, federal, etc. Once I got my invos, I decided I'd never go back. There is that much of a difference.

It is an entry level tire so don't have any high expectations from them!!! If it were me I would spend the extra cash and get the DWS's!! I am a store manage of a tire shop in GA and we used to carry the BCT brand but stopped a couple of years ago. Check the date code on the tire also!

No one should buy those BCT tires. Consider this as a PSA. I had those tires on my Camry when I bought it used from a dealership. The tires have no traction at all and wear fast. I am a steady driver; do not speed over 80 mph and I barely got 40K miles. Their performance in snow, is pathetic. Please do not take this risk, it is not worth it!
