Axis or RonJon?

It's poll time! I have an 05 NBP TL wit a-spec kit, blacked out headlights, and TL-S sidemarkers and tails.

Axis Shines vs. RonJon Inspyre Liquid Graphite
Prices are neck and neck

Shines: 19x8.5, 19x9.5 staggered--F 35mm, R 40mm

RJs: 19x8.5 all around, F&R 42mm

(that's actually exactly how my car would look, thanks darksom!)

between the two: if you want lip and staggered look, Shines; otherwise, Inspyres for non-staggered and non-lip look.

bforbrian, its funny that you put this post up. I was deciding between the exact two tires, but non-staggard set up. Not to hijack the thread or anything, but which of these two do you think would look better on a wdp, aspec body kit, tails and sidemarkers. I'm leaning toward the RJ's right now since, I think wheels with a lip usually look better on coupes.

FYI, if you are planning on getting the Inspyres, they are on back order for at least another month and a half.

Yeah, I have a 04 WDP TL, I was trying to say that I think the Shines would look better on a coupe (G35,Z350, etc), not that I had one.

Definately a hard decision...

Can anyone tell me what would be the best set up for the shines?

If I got either of these wheels, I would probably get 19x8.5, 235/35/19 Faulken 452s or Toyo Proxy H4S, but then again, I'm from Philly and was thinkin I might need 245/35/19 for extra protection.

Also, I know the RJ's would fit perfectly on our TLs, but how are the Shines w/ offset and all?
Any input is appreciated.

I think the RJ inspyres in the BLACK RAVEN finish would look awesome on the car, it would follow the theme of the car.

The ravens are nice, but they don't look as sharp and honed. The reason why I love the inspyres in LG is that you can see the little triangles in the corners of the spokes, whereas in the ravens they're painted black so you only see twin spoke lines.

lol, thats the same reason some other people like the Ravens more too. So happy the finish can bring in other prospective customers that otherwise wouldn't like the Inspyres.

rondog, do you or anyone else know if any shops have the RJ Inspyres in LG available? After speaking to a rep from RJ, they said it will be another month and a half before production on the new wheels is complete.

Well retail the Inspyres are 1380 but perhaps RonJon can give them to me for 1300? I think we agreed on that a while ago until I backed out; plus, I can pick them up since I'm in queens.

Then again, there are tires too

I think I'm slowly leaning towards shines... I love that 4" lip in the rear.. much more sportier than the RJs but not as aggressive and vicious as the Inspyres..
