Axis Pentas or Tenzo type mesh

Hey guys...I am new to this forum and just signed up. I am about to get a 2008 White Acura TL type S. Ive seen some pictures but not sure which set of wheels I should go with. The two im considering are the Axis Pentas or the Tenzo type M wheels. They would be 19x8.5 probably all the way around unless someone can convince me to go staggered of 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear. Also will either of these clear the breaks and if not how can I get them to clear. And if anyone knows of some other wheels that I should consider please let me know. If someone has pictures please post them...thanks alot guys

By the way, what size tires should I get with the 19s? 245/40/19 or 245/35/19...I would like to go with 245/40/19 but I would I get some rub? Oh yeah...and I forgot that I will be putting the new wheels on at the dealership so I will have 4 brand new type s wheels with brand new tires on them. So let me know if anyone wants to buy them. I believe they are worth around 1200 so give me your best offer.

what color you I should go with? I was thinking like the charcoal with the polished lip or something on a white car. polished face seems a little too flashy for a white right?

what is the offset on this wheel... it might not clear the brakes

edit
NO FIT FRONT OR REAR --- 19" x 10" 5/114.3 19 - - $335.99

NO FIT FRONT OR REAR --- 19" x 8.5" 5/114.3 20 - - $321.99

Man that really sucks because I really want the low offset to get that aggressive look. Ive seen the 42 offset in an 18 inch wheel and its pretty ugly like the spokes actually stick out of the rim bead.

Could someone explain to me exactly what offset is and how it is measured? I want 19" wheels but I need to know what offset I need to get in order for it to fit...or does it differ for different brands?

it is a big problem finding wheels to fit our cars... the big ol brakes make the choices limited

but quick tutorial on how offset works.... the lower the number... the closer it is to the fender and the higher inner clearance for lets say the brakes... similarly the higher the number the father in and away from the fender it is and the lesser inner clearance which is when it won't clear brakes

with our cars a proper offset for a 19x8 wheel maximum is +45 and minimum is +32... which will allow you to run the factory recommended 235/35-19 tires

with our cars a proper offset for a 19x8.5 wheel maximimum is +45 and minumim is +32... which will allow you to run the factory recommended 235/35-19

in many cases the +45 to +40 wheels DO NOT CLEAR OUR BRAKES

I am thinking about trading in my 2005 Carbon Black BMW M3 for a NBP 2008 Acura TLS. Anyone think I should just keep the M3 or should I trade it in for the TLS?

I'd keep your M3 or wait for the new TL(S) to come out to get something a little closer to what you already have. I love my TLS, but its not like an M3 if that's what you are used to. My having owned an M3

well the only reason why i was even thinkin about doin it was because I need more space and navigation. The TLS definitely looks nicer on the inside and its a lot roomier. Man so many decisions.

Hey mod...so why did you end up trading your car in for a TLS if you had an M3?

Ok well I know people all say that the 05 M3 > TLS, but I really do need the space and a more practical/reliable car. So I went ahead and traded my 05 carbon black M3 for the NBP TLS. I love the tls and I have no regrets so far.
