So Axis has these new wheels for 2010 which is pretty much a penta but with a chrome lip and matte black and silver center.

I was in the market for some chrome work vs-xx but there to much $ and i need new rotors and pads now since my rotors are warped after only having them for 20k miles. need to get slotted and drilled ones.

so since im gonna cheap out on wheels... the next best thing would be to get what looks similar to what i wanted which is the Axis Penta...gons....in matte silver with chrome lip.

so from what i undertand that if i get
19x8.5 +35 Front
19x9.5 +40 Rear
i will need a 5mm spacer up front to clear the Brembos. correct?

Tires will probably be 235 or 245/35/19

Also whats your opinions on this wheel on a NBP TL-s?

Kind of wish I had known about these before I just put Penta's on my car last week You'll need a 5mm spacer up front to clear the brembos.

Well to be honest, everyone says you'll need a 5mm spacer. When I had them put on at the shop, they told me they didn't contact the caliper without it, but there was a cunt hair for clearance. I actually went with 2mm spacers for the time being, and I have no issues with clearance

For 5mm or less, you can get the little paperweights The tire shop that mounted the wheels had them in stock, and they're about $10 a piece. Yes, spacers with extended studs get pretty costly. I'm wanting to get at least a 10mm spacer on both front and rear wheels on mine, just waiting for my shot at the BM

this wheel was my first choice before i decided that the resale value of the vs-xx's would be better. Just a warning that if you like to keep your wheels clean like me than be prepared to spend sometime on cleaning them. Its a nice looking wheel but a bitch to clean.
