Aspec suspension install

Hey guys. I just received my a spec suspension and with the shocks came 2 little bags of bolts. Can you guys tell me where these go to and if they sent me the correct amount

those look like the nuts that are screwed onto the top of the tophats that secure it to the car.



so, you have three for the front. for each side
and two for the rear, i think. for each side.

That's what I thought but these nuts are to big to fit the top of the shocks

^discard them.


your aspec springs and shocks should be fully assembled and you can re-use the existing nuts to attach them to the car.

some one probably thought they went with the aspec springs and just attached it quickly to your package.

IIRC mine came with them too. I just reused all the oem bolts and didn't use those.

if that's the case; a part number has changed.
at one point and time; those nuts were used on the TL's.

then for some production reason; they switched to a whole new set.


ask me how many times I bought a part from Acura with the right part # but it didnt fit.
production changes over the years, but some one forgets to update the part#.

Those are nuts, not bolts, you nuts

The locknuts are for the toe arms. The service manual says to replace those nuts every time you adjust toe.

The other 6 should fit the flange bolts. No big deal if they don't, the original flange nuts should be in excellent condition.
