To Aspec or to coilover???

Just wanted to get my ziners opinions... Which would you do Coilovers first or Aspec Kit?
Its a tough decision for me because Ive been really wanting a coilover set up on my car but at the same time I feel like my car is incomplete without the Aspec kit.

I'd say coilovers first but you really can't go wrong either way.

i bought the Aspec suspension for my car last year cause i wanted to keep my ride quality pretty much stock but give it alittle drop, which it definitely did! but then i put new wheels on it and the wheel gap was horrible in my eyes. so i ended up getting ht spec V1 coils. paid the same price for both those suspension. Wish i went with the coils at first they really are awesome! good luck on whatever you buy

The Aspec suspension is made for the car. That says a lot.

I think the OP meant Aspec Kit or coils and not Apsec suspension.

I apologize guys I did mean Aspec Kit or Coilovers...
Im leaning more towards coilovers first, everytime I see my wheel gap I get alittle disgusted. For some reason I feel like the money is best spent on coilovers.
Which did you guys do first?

I did the A-Spec lip kit first.

I still don't have coilovers but I have the recently installed A-Spec suspension.

On my 2006 WDP TL I had the A-Spec body kit put on by Acura, then 2 months later my son and I installed Tein SS coilovers. My son learned alot. I managed the install with instructions, my son did 80% of the install with his friend helping as his runner for tools, etc. I dont think it matters. BUT IF you live where you have been getting snow, maybe the A-Spec body kit would be better first, then a few months later put the coilovers on. I highly suggest the inproved version of the Tein SS coilovers, They are AWESOME The first time I lowered a TL was my 07 Type-S, I had a shop install Eibach Pro springs---MISTAKE. I DIDNT LIKE THEM AT ALL except for the looks. $250 for Eibach springs, $200 to install, and $180 to have them taken out. $630 WASTED!!! In My opinion. I LOVE TEIN SS COILOVERS !!!!

My Avatar picture is after S-Spec body kit and used 19" RJ wheels which I sold soon after. I ended up lowering the car with Tein SS then bought AXIS HIRO 19" wheels. PURE BEAUTY. I LOVE the 2006 A-Spec body kit !!!

Go coilovers. I got the a-spec kit first and regret it every time I see that horrible wheel gap. A nice drop on coilovers really looks good on a non lip kit TL.

I think getting coilovers first is your best bet. Lowering a car always makes a big difference on appearance. Once you have that, everything else is a plus!!!

once you get the aspec...you'll be dying for coils.. and once u get coils.. you'll be dying for the aspec

so just buy both together and make ur car happy

I bought mine a month or 2 apart... but I went with aspec 1st and didn't regret it.

Coilovers first though if you cant afford both. Aspec kit can wait. Coilovers will give you your desired drop as well as increase overall performance...killing two birds with one stone!

Amen... I saw a stock SSM about 4 cars ahead of me last week looked like he was dropped with stock wheels but the wheels poked out not dramatically but it just made the car look different from the norm.... Spacers???

I agree wholeheartedly with you here... A very good friend of mine has a 05 S4 and what just a drop did to that car is amazing he's still on stock S4 rims but the car just look better looks more pronounced
