mine started to slip/chirp almost all the time, forget about driving in the rain
15k miles, the tires were near bald. And that included 2 rotations.
Replaced them with Pilot Sport A/S, same size as original (235/45R17), and I cannot believe the difference. The most noticable difference is during wet weather. They just stick like glue.

My EL-42s have yet to chirp. Just hit 10,000 miles and have 6/32" on the fronts and 7/32" on the rears. I guess I will go in for a rotation, but I don't want these tires to last too long. I plan on replacing them with Pirelli Pzero nero M&S just as quickly as practicable.

Yes, my EL-42's we starting to chirp ( take off ) and squeal ( cornering ) significantly. I had about 15000 miles when I traded them in ( got $35 per on trade in ) for a set of ContiExtremeContacts is a 245/45/17 size. Got out the door for under $475. Had a set of these on my CL-S, and thought these were pretty good all-season tires. They definitely have take a wider stance and make the car look more aggressive.
I can still get them to spin on launch, but in cornering they haven't made a peep.

Discount tire in Bolingbrook, Il. While my tires had 15K on them, they were rotated 3 times and still had even wear and half the tread depth left. Plus no plugs or patches.
They started at $20 per and to seal the deal I talked them up to 35$per tire for a $140 credit.

I guess for some people it might make sense to buy used tires to save money, or if your selling a car with bald tires and you don't want to spend $$ for a new set.
I bought 1 used tire before ( long time ago ), my tire had a blowout and they had a used tire with most of the tread left, and it was the same model tire, so I saved myself $100 bucks over purchasing a new one.

All the time
11k. Took off like a grandma and squeals like a pig. They are even chirping on 1st to 2nd shift. The tires are just plain crap. I have complained endlessly to my Acura dealer and they haven't done anything.
