I always heard nothing but praises about H&R from other car enthusiasts, and never any complaints.

YEAH...I've been "researching" those for quite a while. Was originally planning on going w/ the Koni/Eibach setup, but apparently the H&R Coilovers blow em' out of the water. I ordered mine last friday from some company in California. If you're still hesitant, give me a holler...and I'll try to "expand the experience" after I get them installed...

oh yeah, and i first heard about them from slammed (up top)...guy said they were AWESOME. I went out the same day and talked to my local shop...he said the same...

EDIT: In my opinion H&R Coilovers > Tein SS; however, I'm only coming from a uh...financial point of few. On average the H&R's are a bit more costly...but I didn't wanna have to deal with all the modding for the TEINSS install (EDFC)...JUST MY OWN OPINION

Loved my H&R C/O on the Audi. They were a little firmer compared to the A-spec I am running right now.

They are expensive but well worth it.

well of course i can adjust height!.. how does it compare to a-spec? anyone?

i guess the benefit of Tein is more like the EDFC..

how hard is it to change the damper rate?

got it off www.autosportstyle.com
haven't exactly received them yet; i ordered last friday, sometime in the morning, and apparently they don't "process" over the weekend. i'm getting very impatient to tell you the truth...no idea why it takes them more than a two days to PROCESS my order, considering they've already withdrawn the money (but then again, I think that's my bank's fault?)

me = just impatient!!!

canadian winters...yeah haha

as for the damper rate...are you talking about the H&Rs or the Teins? I don't believe the H&Rs have an adjustable damper setting (at least not to my knowledge; if it does...sweet!), and as for the Tein SS', adjusting the dampening is quite easy w/ the EDFC; however, the installation part for OUR cars is a pain (so I've heard). You need to replace the engine strut bar and a few other things...some quote 6 hrs + to finish the entire job...but again, i'm not quite too sure...

i'm the absolute wrong person to know about these things, but I do know that we share a lot of similar components with honda and wouldnt be at all surprised if the accord model works with our TL.

Just call either the vendor you purchased the coilovers from or call H&R and cross reference the part # and see if they are the correct ones. They should have a serial or part # on the strut body itself.
