Anyone dropped with 245/35/19's?

Did anyone drop their suspension of 1.5 inch running some 245/35/19's with a 40mm offset? Is there any rubbing ???

I'm on 245/35 R19 and lowered about 1.25" with 35 offset wheels and I have no rubs, even with 5 ppl on board.

I have 245/35/19's and when dropped far enough they definitely rub. The tires were chewed up until I raised it...mine are 42 offset. I am happy I have the TEIN SS coilovers which are easy to adjust as high or low as you would want to go. Also, the height impact camber and alignment. I went through a set of tires in less then 15K miles and raised it trying to get a little more wear... Good Luck

As long as you're on lowering springs, not coilovers, you should be OK. Coilovers allow farther upward suspension travel, making it even more prone to rubbing.

I have Eibach pro springs and stock shocks, with 245/40/18" no rubbing with +44 offset, not even close. They are the same height and width as 245/35/19" I see no problem with springs that lower 1" or so.

Ok Let me hear what you guys think of this...

I have my 06 TL in a very good, High End Custom Body Shop putting a RonJon kit on my Car. I am friends with the Manager and have met the owner a few times. The tree times I have been to the shop I have seen 2 Lamborghini's, and a Ferarri just to name a few. Well I mentioned that I was looking for some Rims also. Happend that the Owner of the Shop has a slightly used set of GFG 3 piece Forged Rims that he used to have on his Infinity G35 sedan. He says they have the same Offset as the TL and he put them on my car. He says they fit great and sent me some pics. The pics looked really nice but I finally got to see them the other day and the tires are huge. It's staggered and Running 255/35/19 on the front and 275/35/19 on the rears. My bumpers and side skirts were off the car getting painted so maybe that made it look bigger???? Do you guys think this has any chance of working? The shop guys are telling me that the wheels are fine and would look even better with a 1" drop although they say it does not need to be dropped. I looked and I don't think there is a chance in Hell that I can drop it unless I roll the fenders. The tires do not stick out past the fenders but they are wide tires no doubt. I can probably post pics but don't know how?

Those tires are too big, period. The rims might work, but you definitely can't use the tires.
