Anyone clean "in walls" on rim

Whats up guys, do you clean the inside of the rim? if you do how often? I just thought w/ my car color the stock rims look perfect (only if its just 2 inches bigger = / ) I use a spray on/rinse off cleaning agent, and get it inside the rim, also i use a long brush and scurb most of the brake dust out (kinda like brushing your teeth) the end result looks spectacular

I do the same procedure everytime I wash the car, but it gets pretty tight in the front calipers. You need a really flat brash to get in there. Anybody have better suggestions for this tight spot?

I bought this neat 4 finger lamskin mitt from Griot's Garage......I have the A-Spec package and his wheel cleaner is great also on the 18's.......cleans great and when you rinse it off......the wheels bead real nice. You can reach all the back to the inside lip on the wheels!

I have the 6MT and it is really tough to get around the caliper. Sometimes I move the car a few feet to be able to get to all sides. Two other suggestions:

1) When you first get the car, remove the wheels, and put a good coat of wax on the inside of the rims. This makes it easier to remove the dust.

2) I rotate my own tires (HPT's)about every 5K miles. Each time I do this I detail the wheel, check for rim damage and inspect my brakes. During the detailing I can get the inside and back of the rim very clean and re-wax. Also I can get the lugs and lug holes really clean. If you have a floor jack it is really easy and takes less time than it does to make the trip to tire shop or dealer.

I should try out number 1 next time the wheels come off and it would be nice to have a floor jack but im moving out to an apt next month so i doubt i can do any kind of work there. also that area between the caliper is a biatch! maybe a old sponge and some long nose pliers would work = /

I use my regular car wash soap and rag. The wheels get done last. I can get all around the inside of the rear wheels, all the way around to the inside rim. The fronts I can't get around the calipers but I don't sweat it; next time I wash the car a different section of the fronts will probably be blocked by the calipers anyway.

No nasty sprays or extra solvents required. These are by far the easiest wheels to clean that I've ever had on a car.
