I just bought a set of stockies with tires 75 percent tread left or so. The guy had cooper zeon I think AS sport tires on them. Wheels do not have any bends cracks etc. These things are the loudest tires I have ever heard in my life! I mean it sounds like an 18 wheeler coming down the freeway. Are these tires that bad really?

i had cooper cs4 touring on one of my old vehicles, they rode nice and were quiet. my dad has discoverers on his silverado. I just ordered sum cooper rs3-a in 245/40/18 and 275/35/18s... IDK are your edges feathered or chopped?

Check the tires for uneven tread wear or feathering as this condition will cause noise.

Never had Cooper's on a passenger car, but I purchased a SUV with that brand and they were the worst tires for traction, hard s a rock, wore forever, but terrible traction, Got rid of them and never had Cooper tires again.

If it is actually the Zeon then yes they are known for being very loud and rough ride. They have an extremely hard tread and just don't wear well. I'm currently running the Zeon RS3-A and absolutely love them!! Handle awesome, ride smooth, no noise...just all around great tire! Highly reccommend to anyone!

^glad to hear Matt, I just purchased these, not installed yet. They are a fairly new tire, so not many reviews, besides sponsored ones. It was between these and dws. I know the dws is a great tire, but I got these a Lil cheaper and wanted to try something different.

I installed the Cooper RS3-A about 4 months ago and love them so far, and the price was great.
