I have used form and function type ones I bought 4 months ago, finally getting them installed on Wednesday .

I have all the coilovers, the wrenches, but I was looking at a picture and saw this. Go to the heeltoeauto link and you can see the picture....whats the screws in the bag supposed to be?

I don't have a box/bag of screws, did you guys get those screws, do I need them?

I reused every single nut and bolt that came on my car...not sure why you wouldn't be able to do the same unless HT specifically made a different thread/pitch for the bolts. Take one of your tophat bolts off and make sure it fits on yours.

I didn't realize you kept both cars? Why 2 cars?

Why does this forum have so many trolls, this place is going downhill fast, you can never get a straight answer. I was pretty sure the question was answered pretty early on.

funny story, now that I see your "garage" info. after basketball the other day, this fkn gorgeous alpine white (I think?) 750IL pulls into the park...the guy was young as hell. He walks by and he's just openly loving my car...he's like "what a fkn amazing car, man"...I was like "HA, I'll trade you, I love yours!". His response was "naw man...I wish, that's my parents car".

I really dug that he was honest and totally unabashed about the fact that he loved me car when he could have played off what he was driving and tried to make me feel like mine was shit.

I guess it's all in the attitude, man. Nobody hates on you for having a nice life or nice cars etc...it's just that you try and seem to take on an attitude like you worked hard for it or deserved it, which makes all the difference in how it's received. If you were to just say "yeah, man, I'm really lucky I got a good start in life etc" instead of getting offended and pissed off...

You know what I'm saying. I'm sure...on the flip side, I'm sure it gets tiring being told that you don't deserve sh*t and that you're just a spoiled kid.

Anyway, peace from my end at least. Whether given or earned, doesn't make it more or less cool to me. I'm a patient man and know I'll one day have all my dream cars. Or I'll just drop my dream cars down to realistic shit I can afford if my Mom ends up being wrong about my full potential and what I will accomplish in this life.

Thanks man, I always respect your opinion/posts, you don't cause any problems at all. I didn't mean you when I said "people take posts OT".

And to answer your earlier question, I go to the city for school, its a long commute and the parking sucks not to mention the drivers in NYC. I use the TL as my "beater" I guess you can say, the A6 gets driven once or twice a week and will be seldon driven in the winter. I used to have a 08 5 series before the A6 and did the same thing with that car, the 5 series was actually my first car, just traded it in last month.

I am sure you will get the cars you want man, I respect people that work for their things. Me being such a young age, its awful most of the time having a nice car, people view you differently and judge you wrongly. I usually don't tell people what I drive, and try to avoid the subject all together. People my age are happy with any car that gets them from point A to point B, I have to remind myself how fortunate I am.

We're just jealous! LOL...first car was a 4 year old 5 Series is awesome. Imagine having the TL as just a beater. You would have loved my first car...1988 Ford Taurus station wagon...man, that thing was a DREAM!
