? for 5AT'ers with A-Spec Suspension

Did any of you opt to also add the thicker front and rear stabilizer bars that come with with 6MT suspension. Is there/would there be any value to adding them too??

I'll move this to Suspension. Before I do, I'll answer your question.

I didn't upgrade the sway bars yet but plan to. While there is some benefit to upgrading the thicker front sway bar (the 6MT's is not much larger than the 5AT's, 27 mm vs 25 mm), there is more benefit to upgrading the rear sway to the 22 mm Comptech rear sway bar (6MT is only 20 mm vs. 5AT's 17 mm); reduces understeer and reduces body roll as well.

HTH.

Is the Comptech a direct bolt on? How much of a handling difference have you gained?

Yes, the Comptech is a direct bolt on. More acurately, the Comptech rear sway bar will replace the stock rear sway bar.

The body roll as a whole is definately less, so the car stays much more flat through turns. This reduction of body roll comes at the expense of a little more bumpyness in ride. But not too bad. Also, by stiffening the rear suspension, the understeer is reduced making turn in more neutral. If all of this does not make sense to you checkout these for basics:

$110 from them. You can order it from some Acura dealers, too. If you search, you'll find some excellent reviews in this section from those who have installed it. I plan to as well...eventually.

thank you neuronbob

Aspec Suspension is about US$ 700 from http://www.acuraparts247.com/
Comptech rear sway bar US$ 110 from http://www.comptechusa.com/store/product412.html
Dealer Labor/alignment US$ 390
total should be around US$ 1200 right?
