245s on 9.5" wide wheel?

trying to figure out whats a good size tire to run on 18x9.5 et38 on a 08 TLS lowered about 2 3/4in without rubbing my fenders to hell. Ive read alot of people doing the 245 on 9.5s but does ne1 have a pic of that setup? I dont want the lip of the rim sticking out. thats the only thing im trying to avoid with this setup. or does ne1 now how wide a tire you can run on the TL-S without rubbing.

+1 on this question. Does the lip of the rim stick out too far than the tire?

yea,but what is your offset? that matters as well. i have 235,40,18 and think the 245,s will rub,if your lowered over 2 inches on 9.5 et 38 and how low u go matters as well. me and tamer are pretty low

I am running 18x9 with a +35 offset all around. Tires are 245/40/18. I have the A-SPEC suspension which drop 1 inch in the front and rear. I have had no rubbing issues. I know you are going with a 9.5 which is wider, but you are going with a less aggressive offset, +38, which should be a perfect setup with no rubbing issues. I hope this helps.

a-spec suspension doesn't drop you that much so maybe that's why you don't have any issues. But if you were to drop your car another inch and a half, you might rub.

Just the right drop! I'm a family man, wife, kid's the whole shabang, a couple of muts! I definitely don't want the exhaust to rub the tarmac!!
