235/50/R17 ? will it fit ?
I got TL-S with stock rims.
And it's time to change tires. I can't find stock size tire.
How 235/50 size is going to be? is it fine ?

They'll be too tall. Probably look like a 4x4.
Stock size is 235/45-17, but they were slightly oversized on the TL-S at (iirc) 25.6 inches diameter. Many 245/45-17 are close to that and most 235/45-17 are slightly smaller.
Point is, check the actual diameters.
But those are the two closest OE replacement sizes 235/45 and 245/45. Another alternative is 255/40-17.

I live in Kazakhstan)) it's really hard to find tires of this size..
Also, roads in my country are not best quality, so I hope that these tires will be softer...

Ahhh. Well then good luck.
Some one posted the 235/50-17 will fit. And I've listed the other alternate sizes that might help.

I'm bumping this 10 year old thread.
What about a 3G TL that is not a Type S? Will the 235/50R17 work on the base model wheel that was designed for 235/45R17? I am also sick of feeling every single tiny jolt in the road so a bit more padding would be nice.
