Unhappy 2005 Camber Kit HELP

First of all please bear with me. I am new to suspension and just need some personalized help. I used the search feature and am still a little confused.

So I've had the car for a week and love it!! The owner before me has dropped the ride slightly on SS Tein Coilovers. It is aligned and all that but it has a bit of negative camber. I need to get the car MD state inspected as well as getting the most life of my tires, so he said his mechanic said he needs a camber kit.

I see there is a ingalls rear camber kit but there are also just lower camber kits, that deal with the toe? Little confused on this. Why would I need both? Would the lower arm do its job? I seen people complain about the ingalls rear camber kit and want to know why. I just need a little guidance on it because I have no clue.

Thanks in advance.

Here is the picture of the VERY slight camber:

and if I do get the camber kit, will I be rubbing in the wheel well? I am very open to all recommendations for brand. The most affordable the better.

From that pic the camber looks ok. Take another pic from back side to get a better view
of the camber.
Also did you get it aligned and what are the camber specs? Then maybe you can get a
helpful answer and get you going in the right direction.

As far as the ingalls go there are many opinions on the reliability issues. I for one will
buy the ingalls and see for myself.

its nothing too aggressive. Just a little negative. I will take another tomorrow. I can check with the guy I bought the car from to see if he still has the print out. I'm just going off of what the align tech said to him. there is a little wear on the toe. I think that's why he said it.

If it's just the toe it has adjustment that might all it needs. The toe being out
can greatly affect the tire wear over neg camber.

Thanks for the help you are giving me. But what is the difference between toe and camber? And by the looks of it, the lower kit should do fine? If so, what is an affordable part for the back?

our cars come with a little bit of negative camber.
if toe is set to 0, then you're good!!!
maybe, you should google what Toe and camber means.

post up your alignment sheet.
the picture you provided looks great!!!!!!!! no excessive camber!!

I don't think it is because I'm getting some toe wear. And I probably should google lol

out of spec TOE will show as Camber wear on your tires.

that means you're not aligned correctly.
get it on an alignment rack and set toe to 0 or as close to it.

The 3G TL has negative camber from the factory. But you probably need an adjustable toe arm. The INGALLS kit is the best kit because it has adjustment for camber and toe.

http://store.excelerateperformance.c...5/i-60220.aspx

If you want a set you need a qty of 2.

So that includes the ball joint and a full set? I would need a qty of 2 (one for each wheel)? I'm just a little confused..

^Ingalls Kit = two lower arms/per side. One for camber adjustments, and another for toe adjustment.

SPC rear camber arm=Upper arm with ball joint. (This is only for camber adj.) <-with that said you should still have enough toe adjustment with the stock lower toe bar.

There is a lot of info on this subject on here.........

Call our shop to discuss. Or email me at sales@excelerateperformance.com

I linked you to a rear kit. The front kit includes ball joints.

I just missed the operation time so I could have called. I was looking at the ingalls. I just need camber adjustment. Is it possible for me to just get one kit and it take care of both sides? Or is that not possible?
