Cool 2004 TL to be lowered how much...?

Hello, my baby is sitting on 20 inch wheels, 35 profile. "Stock" height still has at least two inches of space but i still mind bumpy rides.
Not sure how low I should go considering comfort.
Thinking of dropping her two inches with these.. What do you guys think?

2004 TL to be lowered how much...?

I personally lower my cars with a full coilover. Then I bought bags because I got tired of the shitty roads in NYC and getting in my garage is a nightmare for lowered cars.

As far as comfort, those 20s really do make a harsher ride. I wouldn't go bigger than a 19" wheel on our TL. But its all preference

Anyway, if I were you I'd look into coilovers. You can get Tein for a little over $500 and have adjustability. Plus the difference between lowering springs on stock shocks vs a legit coilover is night and day.

agreed, its all personal preference, AS I WOULDNT DARE PUT a 20 inch wheel on the TL.
but if that floats your boat, then you can pick out your own height!

I wouldn't go with those lowering springs. They'll ruin your stock shocks and ride will feel all wrong. Go with a spring and shock combo or a coilover setup if you want adjustability. We offer the TEIN Street Basis for $531 right now not including shipping. They'll get rid of your wheel gap and offer a nice ride.

Well gentleman... I have had creeping thoughts of smaller rims before the coilover purchase.
Which brand/size of wheels and tire would you recommend?
Thinking of Varrstoen ES1's but not completely sure on sizing. This will eventually be my first lowering project so all help & info is greatly appreciated.

I actually contacted your offices about an exhaust system on thanksgiving lol, sadly went to voicemail. Anyways.. Does the price of $531 include shipping to socal? And if so, how long is standard shipping?
