20 in rims??

20 in rims??

Hey im about to purchase a 99 or 00 tlp and the first mod i want to do is get rims. Will 20 in rims fit on the car? will i need springs or anythign else? thanks

Ive seen 20's on a TL, do a search for pics. It looks terrible. And it will be hard to find an offset to fit. And yes you should to drop with 18's or 19's, if not it looks like an SUV.

it'll be UGLY and slow the **** outta ur car...


IMO..

i suggest u go with 18s or 19s..

(btw i guess 20s will fit with some mods i saw a TL with them on a pic...)

This is a pic of 19's, comptech drop. It sits a tiny bit lower now that the springs broke in. But as 4kcdude says, go with 18's, Its a little slower from a dead stop with 19's. Not much but you can notice a difference.

one word - NASTY.... 18s are ok, 19's are pushing it... hard. I'm not a fan of big wheels like that cause I think its pretty ghettoish. And I'm a very non-ghettoish person. lol.
