19x8.5 or 19x10 w/ a 20 offset will it work?

Sorry for the typical newb question but I've been searching for a while without any luck. I'm going to be running 19x8.5 or 19x10 wheels front and rear on my car with a Eibach drop and want to know if a +20 offset is too agressive for daily driving. I don't want any rubbing what so ever and I'm afraid that those offsets will just be to close to the fender. Could someone confirm this? Thanks!

Not really sure, but try posting this in the Tire and Wheel category instead of the Photo gallery. You might get better hits and responses there.

Not criticizing, just trying to help out by pointing your thread in the right (and more helpful) direction.

It will work. The fronts will be fine with 215/35-19 tires.

The rears will require more work. A 235/35-19 stretched tire with a camber kit should do the trick. It is very possible.

Yes it is very possible, but very dumb at the same time for daily driving IMO. And I noticed you live in Queens. That means NYC potholes.

I have nothing against aggressive fitment, but when you start running stretched tires for daily driving, and especially considering where you live, I think you're asking for trouble.

Good luck though.

I don't believe the +20 offset will work, you will deffinitely get rubbing and maybe even not clear the inside panel! I believe the most aggresive offset without the rubbing problem in the 3rd generation TL is a +35 offset, pushing it a +33 with a camber kit!

Good to know, I was always under the impression that I could go no further than 35. What wheel size and make do you have?
