i've had them in for a few months now, they are umnitza v2 angel eyes. they will last a very very long time...i wouldn't have went through the trouble of having them and the LED strip installed if they weren't going to last a long time. my headlights are one of my favorite modifications. i would recommend them to anybody. they look great in person and people ask about them all the time. go for it!
i got them from here: http://umnitza.com/umnitza-acura-pre...08-p-1340.html

the hardest part was having my car out of commission for a week while JnC worked on them. i had him do my heads/tails at the same time.
after reading about the install process and everything involved, i decided it was better for me to have a pro do the work. i'd rather have it done right and pay a little more for it, than for me to attempt it and get frustrated halfway thru and fuck something up. but...many members have done this work themselves. bake headlights in oven, pop them open, install everything, etc etc...i was just scared to attempt it.
now...when i got the heads/tails back, the hardest part was figuring out how i was going to wire everything up. that part i did on my own, after a lot of research and trial/error. i installed 2 rocker switches. one for LED strip, one for angel eyes. used 16guage wire and wired everything up from the headlights to the switches. i used an add-a-fuse and tapped into fuse/slot#32 for power. you can check my thread in the pictures section if you want to see more.
good luck to you man, it's a great modification and i'm very happy with it.

I'm a proud owner of a new acura TL 2004
i really don't have to do much to the vehicle because previews owner to really good care of the car like it was it's baby, but he also hooked it up very nicely. the car runs and look complete new even if it high on miles. (120k)
It has 2008 front (oem parts),
black out jdm headlights
Types S chrome grill
oem fog lights with HID kit
a-spec body kit,
infinity g37 wheels
supensions and shocks droped 1.5"
type S tailights
type s rear spoiler,
apart from old this i got the old 2004 parts that he switch out, (for resale purpose,) like the tailights, headlights, oem 04 bumper.
new mod-navigation -done by martin-
this car look gorgeous, i'm getting alot of complements about it.
i only paid $9k for it (cash) private seller.

oh and question on offset/spacers: the new G35's look good, but I really thought at 8in. 30 offset front and 8.5in. 33 offset rear, they'd come out a little more. I can't tell by looking at it if i should do 5mm front spacers/10mm rear, or maybe even 15mm rear. any offset experts care to chime in on what they think?
I also know part of the problem is stock suspension (TL MT Sport-6spd), i am under warranty so will be doing Aspec (is it .7" drop, or 1"drop, on a MT Sport TL?) here soon. If i didn't have to worry about warranty i'd go straight to coilovers.

now with the g35s, you've got a 8.5" in the rear with a +33 offset on 245 tires. keep in mind the wider rim, and larger tires...they help push the wheel out pretty flush (not as flush as my previous set up, but damn close and not enough to make me want to add spacers. i test fitted the 20mm spacers with the g35 wheels in the rear and it stuck out like crazy, no thanks.
front is 8" with a +30 offset so it's basically the same as my type-s wheel setup.
all in all, the g35 wheels are very very close to being flush. i would not add any spacers to them if i were you, i think they look good just bolted straight on.
hope i didn't confuse you further...

well before i put on the g35 wheels i had the stock type-s wheels. they were 235/45/17 +45 and i had a 20mm spacer in the rear and a 15mm up front. so that left me with +25 in the rear and +30 up front. gave me that flush look, which was nice. 8" rim width btw...
