18x7.5 RH Evo C2

How much are these, because I was looking at some prices, and they seem very affordable but yet has a good company making them, what are some of the average prices for this 1 piece rim...and what are some good shops in the SoCal area for these rims....thanks in advance!

They are afffordable because they are 1-piece. Most rims are in the same ballpark. RacingHart makes good rims but some here have said that the 3-piece bend easily so be aware that you are buying a lower quality version of the C2's.

I know they discontinued the C2 3-piece so be sure they still have the 1-piece around.

Check the offset!! You must stay above 40 with 7 inch width, 45 with 7.5 inch and 50 with 8 inch rims.

thanks for the info Adam...does anybody know the offsets for the C2 Evo or the C2000 Evo...I think the only difference between the two is, one has a centercap to hide the bolts while the C2000 doesnt...anyone know???

I don't know if you know this but from what I hear, RH Evolutions are not made by Racing Hart. Most of RH Evolutions are made in the US. RH Evolutions and Racing Hart are not same company.
Most of the Racing Hart wheels are Japanese made and are 3 piece wheels except for few like M5 (one piece). That is the reason why there are two different web sites for the Racing Hart and RH Evolutions. If you really want to know what is made by Racing Hart, go to Racinghart.com web site. You will notice that there are very few 1 piece wheel that Racing Hart makes. Also, that is the reason why there are some 1 piece wheels in Racing Hart web site and most of the other wheels are in RH Evo web site. From what I also hear, RH Evolutions are made by Dazz Motor Sports. I think they have some wheel company in the US make the RH Evolutions for them.

As for your question, the off set should be around +48 and prices run about $240-$280 on 18"

==============================================

The 3-piece RH wheels are made by Work, a very good wheel mfgr. The 3-piece are forged, while the 1-piece are cast. Cast wheels bend much easier than forged wheels. The biggest problem with bending/cracking wheels is with tires. Put on a sh!ty set of KMart tires and you're sure to bend/crack a wheel. Also try to get as much rubber under your wheels as possible.

If I had to do it all over again, I'd get the Dunlop SP9000 run-flats. The sidewall is so stiff, it will help a ton if you hit a nasty pothole.

They actually discontinued the C5, not the C2.

Actually I tried getting those wheels before and I was told that the offset is too low. The RH C2 three piece will fit but the evos will not. You might want to ask around just to make sure though

I also have heard about RH Evolution and Racing Hart being two different companies. Not sure exactly how true that is...
But for me...I dont really look into RH Evolution rims anyways...so doesnt effect me too much. I actually really like the Racing Hart 3 piece M5's. Anyone know some info about this particular rim? Whether it bends easily? If its a good rim overall....etc. Any info will be much appreciated...thanks

i was quoted $1600 for 18" c2 evos with 225/40 pirelli p7000ss about a year ago at impex in san gabriel. i believe the highest offset on this 18x7.5 wheel is a 42 which is the bare minimum you should get. some rubbing should exist but fender work will alleviate this problem.

the 19s offer a better offset at 44 while keeping the width at 7.5". you can use the 225/35 tire if you don't want to go 235/35.
impex also quoted me $2100 for the 225/35 toyo proxes fz4s but $2400 for the 235/35 tires (either toyo or pirelli).

if you are still interested, the c2 evos come in a new bronze color similar to the cp8 and cp10 wheels... www.f1motorsports.com in north hollywood has some bronze c2 evos wheels on display.
