18x10.5 + 295's + TL?! for those that wanted to see!

I posted quite a few times about some MKIV supra fit 18x10.5 Volk GT-u wheels with 295/30/18's. Sorry, there are only a few pictures, and only with one wheel on the car, as it is all i had available to me.

It is a stock 6mt, 05, with 40+k miles just for reference.

Thats all i have, in the next few weeks, i will try a few combos from my supra, with 19x11's on the back and 305/30/19's and 19x10's 265/30/19's for front wheels. I want to see what both fit like and how, if any clearance is available, some fat tires really wakes up the rear of the TL, all i want is Type S exhaust, and i would be happy!

*edit ~ please excuse the pictures, they are from my phone..

the tires look really meaty, straight up it looks nice, and it would allow a suttle drop which if you are going to run widebody you most certainly should do, I would go with an eibach drop which is just an inch

Can you mount those 10.5's up front and see how much it sticks out past the fender? Preferably from the front, or side.

Looks pretty neat ! What is the offset btw ???
I'm planning on buying these for my 3g wdp.Work Emitz 18" front 18x9 rear 18x10 +26 offset.
Do you think they will mount up exactly like yours ???.....I'm planning on going with a streched tire size though Thanks in advance !

Damn thats crazy. I'd be afraid if I lowered it and hit a bump I feel as though the tire would go straight into the fender

Yep you proved yourself, I wanted to see that pic, thanks for posting it 722ish.

OK so they fit, but did you drive with them? Because if your car was dropped they'd HAVE to rub! And it goes without saying that they can't fit on the front so you'd have to stagger them......I like the look of staggered but you know what they say; no use on a FWD. (Not that it's gonna stop me....I wanna do staggered 19"s in the future)

The offsets i will try to find out, im not sure...
As far as using these again, im afraid i can't, they are from an MKIV supra, and are ON an MK3 now. I dont have access to them to try another fitment.

However, i can use the wheels off of my supra, 19x10 f and 19x11 r if this will give a good enough representation for you.
the fronts have 265/30/19
and the rear are 305/30/19

I didnt mean SIMPLE pictures lol, im not sure what the IPHONE was correcting there, but it came out wrong, sorry!

Again, car is stock completely. If anyone local in tampa wants to meet up, i can try some of the bigger stuff on a lowered car if desired.
Let me know what you'd like to see, ill give it a shot.

I didnt drive, but there was a shitload more clearance than you would think considering the size of the TL, and its base platform.
I did not drive, however, i cant imagine there was any sizeable risk as it was, like i said, the clearance was significant considering.

I hate how they do that to the mkiv... 9.5 rear is a STOCK wheel! lol

The mkiv needs fat tires, otherwise they look upright and narrow.

You mean my bone stock 05 TL? Im dont have the wheels on now, and im sure youve seen much better pictures on here than I am capable of taking.
