I think you'd be better off with the 18's especcially if the roads are THAT bad. Good luck

I got 18's, will never drop the car, and love the way they look and feel.

I think the wheel gap might look larger if you got 19's and never dropped the car, which is one of the reasons I stayed smaller.

If not dropped, I would definitely go with the 18's.

This is a perfect example of a car with 18" wheels an no drop.

I don't know fellas. Look through this thread - https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=117535

I see plenty of cars with 19's and even 20's with no drop, and they look pretty darned good. IMO.

Hey, the important thing to realize is this is all subjective. What looks perfect to me may look awful to someone else. That's why I always say "IMO", and that's exactly what it is...my opinion.

I would never knock another guy's ride, knowing how much angst and thought goes into any mod that costs thousands of bucks. So once again IMO, I like the 18's best with no drop. PURELY PERSONAL PREFERENCE!!! , and no offense intended to anyone who disagrees. It's all about what YOU like when you're shelling out the $$$!

Peace!

Haha here....my whip used to ride high with 19's...Heres a comparison between a stock TL w/ 19's and a TL with stock wheels and a 2.5"+ drop

Then I had to lay her down...

I've got 19's with no drop. i like still having the clearance around here. i think the chrome lip on mine kinda takes away some of the 'suv' look.

Also watch your tire size if your roads are bad - drop or not, 40 series tires and bad roads are not a good combo- that is, if you value your rims at all. When I do my 18s, I'm gonna have to do 225/45 just because of these NYC roads.

225 is to narrow. Get 245 width and 40 series. 245/40/18 is about the same height as a 225/45/18. FACT. When you widen the tire the sidewall height gets bigger. DO RESEARCH. 225/45/18 is BAD. 245/40/18 is the BEST SIZE on an 18" wheel. FACT! NOT MY OPINION........................................... ...............................
