18" A-Spec Ebay Rims/Tires Unpacked
I rashed my rim and got another set to replace and thought this might help some people who were on the fence about buying OEM rims off ebay and having them shipped to you and worries about damage...these were shipped from Escondido CA to Indianapolis, IN and are in A1 shape upon arrival! (fully insured in case)
Cost of Rims = $1280 Cost of Tires = $655; Total both with shipping $2064
RIM BOXES:
YOKOHAMA TIRES
OPENING BOX STEP #1
OPENING BOX STEP #2
OPENING BOX STEP #3
BOTTOM OF BOX
OUT OF THE BOX NOW
PARTS BAG INSIDE BOX
PARTS BAG CONTENTS LAYED OUT DISPLAYED
TIRE PRESSURE LABELS/DECALS
INSERT SHEET #1
INSERT SHEET #2
USE AND CARE SHEET - INSERT SHEET #3
[B]NOW ITS ALL OVER AND I STILL HAVE A MESS!!!
Hopefully this will assure ANYBODY that buying product long distance is not a problem! Most shippers insure expensive shipments anyway....but just so you can see....damage is not a problem - even when these were shipped across the country! I also note...when I purchased my first set of rims from my local dealer...they gave me NO paperwork at all with them. Those that also got theirs locally at your dealer...can see if they in fact got EVERYTHING (papers too) they paid for! (and I guess I can see that I need to go to the goodwill one of these days and donate all those old clothes Val has had out there for me and that I am kicking around now wiping up old oil stains and rolling motorcycles all over!)
A quick last note too....the center caps are not red....that is the peel off section on the back of the emblem that gets removed and tossed. Also...before somebody asks....I am using the old set for winter tires.

The dealer sure did an excellent job in packing those rims. Hey, A-Spec Guy, your garage looks a lot like mine. I've got to clean mine one of these days so I can find all the Christmas decorations.

Anyway...yes....you are right...that is the standard factory pack.....no special handling from dealer necessary. I just wanted people to know it is a safe bet that your wheels will be ok if you buy long dist as opposed to your local dealer, who may or may not be willing to deal on cost! My thinking....if they will match the cost....but then I got to thinking...why am I supporting the guy who wouldnt give me the cost right off and made me do all the work getting a good price?

A-Spec Guy.. .I ordered my Rims for Scott as well. They came in the exact same way yours did. I cannot say enough good things about him. I have been a repeat customer 3 times over already. He is cheap and the service is amazing. I also highly reccommend him!

Whats the recomemded tire pressure on those stickers? I cant seem to make it out.. It looks like 36 front and 39 rear and thats for 235/40/18's. I have been running 32 in front and 35 in the rear. Maybe i'll try 36 and 39 and see if i get better gas mileage
