I was thinking about getting some 17 instead of the 16 on my 99TL. Now a set of chrome would look great but isn't it heavier then the 16 Acura Chrome or the stock alloy? Wouldn't there be a price to pay in performance (even a tiny bit?) Thanks for the inputs guys!

I think most 17" rims are heavier than the stockers unless you get something like the OZ Superleggeras. I used to have a set in 18's and they were actually lighter than the stock 16's ( sorry, but I didn't get to weight them, but it felt like it). If you want to get something decent and strong in the 17's, I would settle with the CL-S stockers because it's 17x7 and you can put 225 size tires. Chrome will always be a lot heavier no matter what size.
