07 Type-S with Axis Hiro (19x8.5 +35 offset)
Im waiting delivery on my wheels but my girlfriend wants to use them b4 me for like 6 months on her G35 coupe
Both our cars are stock and not planning to drop. What tire size would you guys recommend to fit both our vehicles? I did some searching and most people here run 245/35/19 but i was wondering if i could get like a 255/40/19 to fill the wheel gap since im not dropping my car and improving comfort at the same time. What are your thoughts? Do you think i would rub? I dont wanna spend 800 dollars for tires and have rubbing issues.
Is there anyone with a G35c that knows if my girl will have any problems running this setup at stock height?

Tire Size Calculator
Also, i think the offset of the wheels might not fit the coupe. If she had a g35 sedan, it would work.

If you are going to run them on both cars you should get them staggered. 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear and run a 245/35/19 front and a 275/30/19 rear. They should fit the G no problem also. Those rims are made for a car with BBK up front and rear wheel drive cars (wider in the rear). The 10.5 Hiro should fit the rear of the G but will not fit the TL so you are limited to 9.5 in the rear if you want to use them on both.

I would recommend reading g35driver.com for what fits best correctly.
I know on the G35 Sedan you can fit a 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 max on it with a 38mm offset. Anything bigger will rub.

Both the G35 and 350 look hot. G35 clearly had a nice wax job on it. Hey Pimpin...did you get rid of that G35 because damn...that is a nice looking car and I bet those wheels cost a pretty penny?

I have these wheels on my TL 8.5 front and 9.5 rear and they fit mint. I went back and forth with different wheel companies even axis told me they test fitted them and they couldnt do staggered on the TL. Needless to say I have them on my car no prob and they look great. The TL may be front wheel drive but the body was not designed like a front wheel drive car. The lines follow just like all the other sport luxury sedans that are RWD and having the wider rim in the back look 10x better than not. I know some people are like "staggered rims are for RWD only" bottom line is I dont care I want my car to look the best it can and if that means putting a wider rim on the back of a FWD car so be it. The whole reason for wider wheels on the back of RWD cars is for traction. All these people stating staggered is for RWD only hardly ever have enough power to need bigger wheels and tires so it is just a look for them also. Just my opinion. Dont get me wrong I am not condoning putting 10 inch wide rims on the rear of a civic but the TL looks much better staggered.

^ I think he was referring to the rims on his G35 sedan that was for $250 each. And $340 is $40 cheaper for 19 x 8.5 than what Axis is advertising on their website. I need to get another one to replace one of my rims that has been bent again. And I have this same set up on my car in Anthracite.

Parts are being black chromed to match TL-S tails. Exhaust is Comptech. Car is very dirty so please excuse it, it has been in the teens here in CT so it is difficult to keep clean.

Is this a manual or automatic? Did you need spacers?

Picked out the Axis Hiro from a catalog because the wheel shopping was not being helpful. I was seriously worried about paying so much for something I couldnt see, wish I had seen your car here first. It looks great, I got the bright silver and am super happy with them.
Lots of people have commented on them, what an upgrade for the Type -S. I'd post a pic, but have no clue how to do it.

Happy Holidays!
I am seriously considering these Axis Hiro in 19s for my TLS. What price are you guys getting? Which vendor? I see that they are selling it at wheelmax.com but I don't know too much about them.
