07 NBP TLS Tenzo Lineup/Decision

07 NBP TL Type-S 6MT + Navi
-TEIN Super Street's
-70% Tint
-AEM CAI

Anyone know anything about these Tenzo Rims? worried about my brembo's clearance. http://www.elementwheels.com/categories.asp?cat=13

Also what do u guys think about overall performance between 18's and 19's
19's are perfect but if 18's give better speed then it's way i want to go.

anyway, here are some photoshopped pics of my TLS with Tenzo's for decision making. stuck between the Bronze DC6 or Black DC6 with red racing stripe.

The Mesh would look better in Chrome on NBP. The Mach 10 w/red stripe is my favorite.

I don't like the bronze.

the last one by far. everything else looks like it'd be on a civic imo. 18's will offer better performance than 19's but 19's will look better.

i looked more at the element wheels website. the dc5's would look good, they look exactly like the bronze works aznbo used to have. u can find some pics on this website with a search in the picture section. i really like the type-m mesh wheels that are due out in march, i wonder how much those will cost?

Thanks for the Photo shopped Type M's. I was wondering how those would look on my NBP. I posted a pic of the wheel a few days ago under my "New Wheels, Go or No Go" thread

those type-m's are sick. i called element today and asked about them. they are the same price and specs as the dc5's they said. they also mentioned if they sell out of the first shipment the next one will take about 2 months. should be <1k for a set of these wheels w/no tires.

I have the dc5 in black and red on their way. I spoke to Tenzo directly and they will fit with a 18 inch wheel and a +35 offset. Ill get some pics up when I put them on. I went with the ASPEC tire size. Also my car is a Black 08 Type S so itll look like your photoshopped pic.

Well now that sux lol. I said to myself I am giving it one try with aftermarkets and these Brembos. I have chrome Aspec rims already but I didnt put them on in hopes of something a little different. The place I got them from guaranteed fitment so this should be interesting. Did you run the 18x8 in a +35 offset? They did specify that this combo was the only one that would work with the Brembos. If you did then Ill post the pics of the rig with Aspecs whenever I feel like putting them on.

i had 8.5s

however... i'm running 8.5s in the front right now with a 23 offset.. if you really like the tenzos, put them on get a 5 to 10mm spacer, or even 15mm, run some tires with size 225/35/19 and you'll be good.. i never wanted to run it that aggressive with the tenzos because they're 1 piece wheels. i'm doing this with 3 piece wheels so i worry less of being so aggressive.

if you need spacers let me know, i have a set of 4 i was going to use for this set up but ended up not using.

You ran 19's? I only wanna go with 18's. What was the size and offset you had issues with? I have a set of chrome aspec rims that I tossed on today to see if I like it. Still trying to decide. Car should be finished by end of April. Then I will actually DRIVE it lol.

hey guys, i saw the entire rack of the type-m's with all different finishes at hin la 2 weeks ago. really really sweet looking concave mesh rims. i dunno if they'll clear brembos or not. i asked the tenzo rep how much they weigh and they are 27 pounds which is not that light for 19's. that's probably why tenzo's don't cost much, they are a 1 piece cast rim.
