Hey guys,

So right now I have the chrome look Aspec wheels on my car. Its not that I do not like the looks, its just that it has some curb rash, and I would like to get it all fixed up and looking nice again. Now, the guy that is redoing my wheels has given me the option to go with any color I choose to when he refinishes them.

So I just wanted your guys opinion. I was debating between a few colors. For those of you that do not know I have a 2007 Carbon Bronze Pearl TL. So please vote in the pole and then give me your opinion on what color I should choose.

avoid color matching at all costs. unless you are on bags and show car status with 5" polished lips, it will look odd.

i personally dislike gloss black compared to flat black

i would advise you to get a "candy" coat though, that has 2 coats of powder, and more protection.

i was also leaning towards gunmetal, but since the aspec wheels were already made in gunmetal ... i might try and see if i can go with a darker shade of gunmetal, but i havent found the exact shade i want yet.

Get the A-Specs wheels done in the color of the Type-S wheels. That's what I'm doing

With your color car I'd go with the same color as the type-s wheels as the above poster wrote. I'm doing the same thing with the stock 17s for winter tires/wheels. I'm thinking flat black on wdp even though most don't like black wheels.

Gunmetal sounds about where I am taking mines too. Gray-ish with metallic flakes. Still your car would wear that glass black real nice.

yea seems like i will be heading with gunmetal ... i was thinkin gloss black because of the contrast with my windows and the paint, but i dont want to overdo the place hence the gunmetal ... but it will be the 07types wheels gunmetal color

cost me 450 and thats including everything mounting balancing and refinishing

i picked up my rotors from r1concepts ... they have been good to me and i have had them on the car for about 60k miles now looking at getting new pads in the next 10k miles rotors are still in good shape they are the e-line rotors if ur interested
