Angry Wtf

I was driving my friend home from an ultimate game this afternoon and she looks over at me and asks "What's that hanging there???". I look over and the covering underneath the glove compartment is falling off my car??? What the hell??? Apparently the thing just snaps in to place, so I just had to pop it back in and everything is fine, but I really wouldn't have expected parts of my car to randomly start falling off... weirdness. Anyone else have this happen?

doesn't sound like a big deal to me. maybe someone kicked it or something got caught and pulled it loose. i expected something real bad with that red, angry smiley (non-smiley?) face. sure, you could be a bit ticked off about it, but it's nothing a beer can't fix. haha.

just make sure it's on there tight and keep an eye on it.

The angry "emoticon"? because when I found it, I was already in a mood... after I found out I could pop it back in, I really didn't care, but still annoyed that the thing just fell off... really I guess I was just looking to see if anyone else has had this happen.

I doubt if it "just fell off." Someone probably kicked the panel when they were riding in your car. The piece of trim you mention is held in place with fasteners and unless the car was delivered with the trim hanging loose (a real possibility with Acura QC) it couldn't just fall off. You probably won't have it come loose again, so if it does, the fasteners are bad.

You obviously are unaware that the entire car's interior can be practicaly "popped." I've done custom audio install for years and that is one of the things you learn, is to start pulling and popping. Although I agree it shouldn't just be hanging there, makes your car feel cheap.
