WOT in 4th gear causes a burning rubber smell

this has happened twice in the past 5 days. ive used ss mode in my 04tl with 73k miles on it. ive done a WOT run from about 80 to 125 and after i let off the gas and start to coast, i get a burning rubber smell that comes through the vents or from the window. it doesnt happen in any other gear but only 4th. anyone know what this means? the first time it happened the smell was far worse then the second time. any ideas guys?

um.. driving to 125mph will make alot of burning smells... probably your balding tires

any car, especially the 3G, going WOT will give you like a burning/rotten egg smell in any gear

I watched my brother's car disappear off the road down an embankment because we were street racing. It rolled twice. He could have died. Thankfully, He was OK.
The thrill isn't worth the risks.

I did not say the hot cat and hot clutches are an OK thing!!
Just the opposite actually~
But hey- new cats are only 1200 bucks-
go have a good time in your car ~ and see what acura says about the parts failure in the trans or exhaust
Smell the trans fluid dipstick to check for burn frequently, and rotten egg smell is often cat plugging up and failing
