Worried about Engine/Trans Mounts

Hey guys I need your help on this. I purchased my CPO 08 TL about 3 weeks ago. My warranty expires in 2015 so I'm not worried, but what DOES worry me is when I shift into D to R sometimes the shift causes the entire car to jolt, even with my foot on the brake. When I took the car in for some service that was owed to me by the dealer I was given a 2012 TSX as a loaner and i noticed it didn't do this. All shifts we're seamless and smooth and were barely if at all noticeable. The loaner had 3,000 miles my TL has 56k but I'm still thinking this is a luxury car it shouldn't be doing this. Also I noticed the steering on the TSX was MUCH more lighter. MY TL's steering seems heavy. I haven't tried another TL to compare it to so I need your help. Thanks in advance.

I would have the mounts looked at and stress tested by a dealer, garages dont seem to know how much movement should be there.

steering's heavy, that's a normal trait especially if you're not moving.

Unless the TSX was v6 then it will not feel the same, in both shifting and driving (no v6 weighing the front end down, the transmissions aren't even the same).

Cant say for sure there's a problem...but my mother's odyssey lurches pretty violently if you dont let it warm up for a good few minutes before shifting into reverse. 2 transmissions and one rebuild on that car.

You're comparing apples to oranges, IMO. Heavy steering is normal for the 3G TL and most people have a jerk when it shifts its just the way it is. If you get the 3rd and 4th pressure switches on the transmission replaced and get a good tranny flush it might help a little. Good luck.
