Windows not working properly

Like the title says, my windows arent rolling down/up except for the drivers window. And it is random. Its like i have the cutout switch engaged. My guess is that the cutout switch is going bad, is there anything else that it could possibly be other than the cutout switch?

It's probably the window regulator. I had the same problem with my passenger side front window. Sometimes it would work and other times it wouldn't and sometimes just the auto up/down wouldn't work. Had the regulator replaced and it's been fine since.

thanks, but if it was the window regulator then it wouldnt be all the windows other than the driver.

Anyways, i found out that the switch isnt coming all the way up to the point where the cutout is off. So now i have to take my door apart again and see what is going on.

Try cleaning the switch. Did you drop any liquids in it?

And if it was the regulator, it would only affect one window unless you have the worst luck.

Didn't read very closely

Yeah I don't know why I read that just your driver window was having problems.

I took the whole thing out and found out that the switch itself was working properly. Then i noticed that there was very littel grease in the channel that the top part rode in. So i went and got some lithium grease and put some on there, so far, no problems.
