Window Wipers

Hello all 3g TL owners! I have my 07 TL base Navi for 11 years. I had it well maintained throughout my years with it. All of a sudden my window wipers stop working. First it was stucked at wiping position and then it stopped working completely. I had changed out the wiper motor less than 2 years ago. So idk if the motor is bad or not. I did find a blown wiper fuse underneath my dash. I haven’t change it yet but will it fix the issue? Because the dealership told me that I will need a whole new wiper assembly and quoted me almost $2k.

So if anyone had the same issue as I did please help me. Thanks in advance!!

How good are you with a digital multimeter and wiring schematics?

Kinda sounds like an issue with either the switch, relay, fuse, or wiring.

Interesting , the one the dealer has must be gold plated?
New OEM front wiper link's show 'discontinued' below.

Here's a used example that sold for $35.

Not really good haha. But I was thinking of the same thing. I might consider replacing the switch and see.

Must be but that sucks. I thought about eBay one but not sure if the used one on there will have the same problem or not. Does the linkage on these ever get bad?

Did you try replacing the fuse? You can always buy a used set from a wrecked/junk car.
